Hands Across the Water's New Office Location
(This is where I work)
Come and take a tour with me!
This is the room where classes are taught and meetings are held. If you have visited HATW in the past, you can remember our last conference room. It was usually filled with items collected as donations for our foster kids. We just held our class around the stuff! This is one of several play rooms for children who are visiting with their birth parents or hanging out during support groups. These rooms can also be used during therapy.
This is our reception area. Check out the lending library on the right.

Your office is really shaping up! The rooms look great, and the lending library is a nice touch. By the way, if you're using your playroom for therapy once in a while, what about getting more ergonomic chairs to keep everyone comfortable during sessions?
ReplyDeleteThat is a great idea. I will pass it along to boss at HATW and our resident therapist. Thanks for reading!
ReplyDeleteHaving one room for both classes and meetings is smart as it maximizes the space. I haven't seen the former office, but I can imagine how uncomfortable to hold meetings there when you have too many distractions. Anyway, I find the reception area/library fascinating. You certainly won't get bored while waiting in that room. Thanks for sharing, Kristen!
ReplyDeleteI like your office it’s very spacious and comfortable. Your meeting room is strategically organized with the chairs and tables surrounding the speaker making it more effective for meetings and lessons to be taught. You even have a spacious play room to accommodate 4-5 children at the same time. Overall, your office looks great!

This is appaling. Stop supporting child trafficking. Did you know that the system takes kids away from good parents and lockes them in foster hell for profitt?
